Make Christmas More Fun With Some Funny Christmas Songs
Often times when preparing for Christmas and trying to figure out what presents you need to buy for everyone on your list, it can become rather stressful. One great wa that you can cheer yourself up is by listening to some funny Christmas songs.
Funny Christmas songs are also a wonderful way to add some fun to the festivities of a Christmas party. There are many hilarious songs that have been around for a while that both adults and children can enjoy listening to. These are songs such as Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth, and You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.
There are also several Christmas songs that have basically taken the original melody from one song and just changed the lyrics so that children can have fun while singing them. One song goes “Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid and egg. Batmobile lost a wheel and Joker got away!” This is not the only song that has been rewritten. Two examples of this include ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. It is also true that you can easily change the lyrics for 12 Days of Christmas in order to really have some fun. Some songs are also not completely re-written and only certain parts of the song are actually changed in order to make it more amusing.
If you would really like to hear multiple humorous songs you can also purchase albums that are put out by popular comedians in which they sing songs and also tell jokes. Comedian Adam Sandler has a song called the Chanukah Song. While this song is not really about Christmas it is very popular and was also played often while he was on the show Saturday Night Live.
For even more laughs you can find songs that are sang by different animals such as cats, dogs and even chickens! There is also an album called A Toolbox Christmas in which Woody Phillips uses tools from around the house to create songs. As you can see, there are many options for funny Christmas songs that you can sing over Christmas when the kids are playing with their new Christmas toys and having fun!
